Aircraft Availability | Applicability: Mixed fleet
Airbus Aircraft Family: A300 | A310 | A320 | A330 | A340 | A350 | A380
These courses are aiming at providing operators with knowledge on Safety fundamentals and best practices to run an effective airline’s Safety Management System (SMS) as well as conducting an efficient Flight Data Analysis (FDA) within a safety department.
This is also bringing the principles of the Threat and Error Management. Customers can also find out how to take control of the entire AirFASE product suite.
XG14 - Operator Safety Management System (SMS)
Applicability: Mixed fleet
Airbus Aircraft Family: A300 | A310 | A320 | A330 | A340 | A350 | A380
The course aim to provide operators with knowledge on Safety fundamentals and best practices to run an eddective arline's Safety Management System (SMS).
The accordance with the latest ICAO standards (Annex 19 abd Safety Management Manual 3rd version); this course reviews the 4 SMS elements (Safety Policy and Objectives, Safety Risk Management, Safety Assurance and Safety Promotion) through an airline's organization with theoretical presentations and practical workshops.
The course is designed for Airline's personnel involved inSMS (from Safety and operational departments)
Notes:
XG15 – Fight Data Analysis (FDA) - Safety Analyst
Applicability: Mixed fleet
Airbus Aircraft Family: A300 | A310 | A320 | A330 | A340 | A350 | A380
The course aims at providing the necessary knowledge to conduct an efficient Flight Data Analysis (FDA) within a safety department to the following personnel:
XG18 - Threat and error management
Applicability: Mixed fleet
Airbus Aircraft Family: A300 | A310 | A320 | A330 | A340 | A350 | A380
This course provides the necessary knowledge and skills for pilots who will conduct the observation of the principles of Threat and Error Management (TEM). Such observation, also known as "Observation Monitoring", is not a line check and should be correlated with TRI / TRE activities. This course is designed for experienced pilots (captains or first officers) but usually without any management responsibilities in order to avoid conflicts of interest between the reports that should be issued and their management position.
XG40A1 - AirFASE user course
Applicability: Mixed fleet
Airbus Aircraft Family: A300 | A310 | A320 | A330 | A340 | A350 | A380
Take control of the entire AirFASE product suite. Learn the different approach to process data, access flightys and their animation, generate statistical reports and administer AirFASE.
Experience the complex AirFASE product suite in-depth technical training in order to make AirFASE work best in your context.
Flight Data Monitoring Process in practice: from data collection to technical training analysis of flight an edition od statistical reports.
This product course is adapted for different users of the system - Flight Operations Engineer, Flight Analysis / Pilots, Flight Safety officers and IT personnel. Each user profile is trained with the AirFASE product suite just as he would use AirFASE in real life within his Flight Safety team.
XG19 - Risk Assessment in Practice - Runway Excursion
Applicability: Mixed fleet
Airbus Aircraft Family: A300 | A310 | A320 | A330 | A340 | A350 | A380
A Safety Management System (SMS), as mandated by FAA, EASA and ICAO regulations, provides a structured management approach to control safety risks in operations. To achieve this, the SMS requires a robust process for risk management, including advanced strategies for assessing risk (2nd pillar of the SMS, as per ICAO).
The concepts associated with Hazard Identification Risk Assessment (HIRA) are all simple on paper, but experience shows that doing it in practice can be rather challenging.
Going beyond theory, this workshop will provide you with one risk assessment methodology for runway excursions which is already in use by more and more operators.
Why focus on runway excursions? Because it is one of the major key risk areas as identified by regulators and IATA (25% of all accidents during the last 5 years, as per IATA Safety Report 2019).
