A321 ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex) Door Configuration

In-Flight Experience | Applicability: Airbus fleet

Airbus Aircraft Family: A320

The A321 ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex) entered into service in 2018 and will be the only standard for A321neo from 2021.

One of the main evolutions concerns the new door layout:

  • While doors 1 and 4 remain unchanged and equipped with wide slides
  • Door 2 has been replaced by overwing exit doors:
  • Door 3 moved back by 4 frames for a better distribution of the doors

As a result this new door configuration allows ACF (Airbus Cabin Flex)  to offer the possibility to adapt A321 cabin using the best combinaison between an optimum floor space and the max exit limit.
