Combined lower deck mobile crew rest

In-Flight Experience | Applicability: Airbus fleet

Airbus Aircraft Family: A330 | A340

Airbus proposes a more ergonomic and comfortable interior for cabin and flight crew optimising cabin space.

Currently the lower deck crew rest is used for accommodating the cabin crew.

The new design accommodates both cabin and flight crew separated by a partition. Up to 6 cabin crew bunks and 2 flight crew bunks separated by a partition. This enables the deletion of the flight crew rest compartment located at Door 1 and the installation of an additional galley outside of the revenue area.

More seats can be also added in the forward zone.
