Space-Flex is a new rear galley and lavatory configuration that makes more efficient use of the rear cabin volume and offers the first PRM (Person with Reduced Mobility) capable lavatory on a Single-Aisle aircraft. A Space-Flex configured A320 Family aircraft can offer up to 8 additional seats or additional space for enhanced passenger comfort.
Space-Flex features provisions for 8 Half Size trolleys and up to 10 Standard units. On the galley side, stowages, convection-ovens, steam-ovens, bun warmers, beverage makers, freezer/wine chiller, power water heater, trash compactor and waste compartments are available for customisation.
Space-Flex features PRM lavatories. The transfer from the wheel chair to the toilet seat is possible via a tip-up seat, mounted inside the lavatory.
